Be the welcoming face (and voice!) of Dunshee House.

Join our community as a front desk volunteer.  Be the first to welcome newcomers to our house.  Most Dunshee House front desk volunteers spend one three hour shift each week in the drop-in area of our house.  They answer phones, give referrals, explain our services, and chat with folks.  If you’re interested in building friendships and community, this is the volunteer role for you!

Help out with our largest fundraising event, the annual Christmas tree lot!

Each year, the backyard of Dunshee House is transformed into our largest fundraising event, the annual Christmas tree lot.  This event, which is almost completely volunteer-driven, provides a major portion of our annual operating budget.  Plus, it’s fun!  The Christmas tree lot begins the day after Thanksgiving and runs through Christmas Eve, but preparations begin long before that.

If you are interested in pitching in,
or would like to bring a group of friends to work a shift for this neighborhood event,
